Thanks, Shayes, for that information. That helps a lot.

I put it in my crock pot frozen since I am gone usually 10 to 11 hours at work. That way it won't over cook and get all mushy. It usually comes out just right. It is only two of us most of the time, so I will cut recipes down to 4 servings and cook the same amount of time as the original recipes. My husband does usually eat 2 servings and I eat 1, which means we have left overs of 1 serving. I don't like to eat things straight in a row, so I do freeze the extra and schedule a leftover night every Sunday on my calendar. I won't forget about the leftovers that way.

Keep Smiling!

Stephanie

Oh, to be there with you. I'm still eating leftovers from Friday. (Live alone. Once I have something I eat it 'till it's gone. If I freeze it, it stays there forever.)

Enjoy that wonderful dinner tonight.

BTW, can you put the frozen dinner in the crockpot and let it unthaw in there? Or do you have to thaw, and then put it in?

I have my first crock pot dinner for the week cooking right now. It is sour cream and onion chicken. I hope it is good.

Good for you.

It is nice to come home to great aromas, the promise of good food, and knowing that it is all right with the world.

Good for you. I found my recipes, but haven't put them together yet.

I found three crock pot recipes on this site to try this week. I went shopping Saturday and put them together in gallon freezer bags. They are in the freezer ready to pull out and put into the crock pot. I love coming home to the house smelling great and dinner almost ready.

Keep Smiling!

Stephanie
