I put it in my crock pot frozen since I am gone usually 10 to 11 hours at work. That way it won't over cook and get all mushy. It usually comes out just right. It is only two of us most of the time, so I will cut recipes down to 4 servings and cook the same amount of time as the original recipes. My husband does usually eat 2 servings and I eat 1, which means we have left overs of 1 serving. I don't like to eat things straight in a row, so I do freeze the extra and schedule a leftover night every Sunday on my calendar. I won't forget about the leftovers that way.
I found three crock pot recipes on this site to try this week. I went shopping Saturday and put them together in gallon freezer bags. They are in the freezer ready to pull out and put into the crock pot. I love coming home to the house smelling great and dinner almost ready.
