Hey everyone! this is my first post on this team so please be gentle! hehe. I purchased my slow cooker at the start of the year and there are still a few things I'm trying to get the hang of. Last night I attempted to make Crockpot Chinese Chicken with Rice from http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-deta il.asp?recipe=113712 . the recipe calls for rice to be put in on high for half an hour. i did this, it didn't seem to want to play ball. i ended up cooking the rice for over an hour. this is my second attempt with rice, is there some trick I'm missing? on the + side, recipe was tastey! Thanks!
