I have a 3 quart Rival crock pot that has been great. Most recipes work well in it, and I can cook a roast in it. Most recipes make enough that I have leftovers, but I just package them up and put in the freezer for lunches or dinner another time! The only feature that my crockpot does not have that I want is a timer feature, which would be nice for those days that I don't get home quite on time.
If you can find a little 2 qt slow cooker, that should be enough for 2 people. Or you could just get the smallest one you can find. My boyfriend and I have 7 qt digital slow cooker and that usually lasts us a few days. Happy hunting. :-)
