These sound divine! Now, without the glaze, the ham won't burn in the crockpot?

Yum I'm trying the pineapple juice & brown sugar ham. I think I'll score it, also use pineapple rings, and secure the rings onto the ham with cloves.

I hope it fits . . .

Thanks for the recipe.

Fantastic Crock Pot/Slow Cooker Ham

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice (or use enough to cover the bottom of your crock pot)
2 cups brown sugar, divided
1 cured picnic ham (bone-in about 7-8 pounds)

Directions
1. Spray the inside of your crock pot with cooking spray.
2. Pour the pineapple juice into the bottom of the crock pot.
3. Sprinkle about 1-1/2 cups brown sugar onto the juice.
4. Rub the remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar onto the ham.
5. Place the ham fat-side down into the crockpot.
6. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours (you may baste the ham about halfway through cooking time, do this quickly to prevent a lot of heat to escape from the crock pot).

Ham in Cider ( slow cooker)
Ingredients:
1 fully cooked ham, about 5 pounds, small enough to fit in slow cooker
4 cups apple juice or cider, to cover
8 to 10 whole cloves
.
Glaze
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups golden seedless raisins
Preparation:
Place the ham in slow cooker with apple juice to cover and cloves; cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours. Before serving, remove ham and set aside. Heat oven to 375. Make a paste of the mustard, cloves and a scant tablespoon of the hot cider. Remove the outer skin from the ham (if there is one). Smear the ham with the paste. Place in a roasting pan. Pour in 1 cup of hot cider and add the raisins. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until paste has turned to a glaze. The cider will have reduced enough to make a flavourful raisin sauce for the ham.

Mustard-Glazed Ham (slower cooker)

Ingredients:
3 to 5 pounds fully cooked ham
10 to 12 whole cloves
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Preparation:
Score ham in a diamond pattern; stud with whole cloves and place in slow cooker.
Combine brown sugar, mustard and lemon juice; spoon over ham. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour; turn to low and continue cooking for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove ham to a serving platter; keep warm. Turn slow cooker to high.
Combine orange juice and cornstarch to form smooth paste. Stir into drippings in slow cooker. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes, or until sauce is thickened. Spoon over ham.
Serves 8 to 12.

Dress it (if your going to put any rub on it) and place it in the crackpot. Place it on low and you will probably have to cook 6-8 hours. Use a thermometer to make sure it is cooked all the way thru. Hope this helps.

Yes you can. Are you trying to cook a traditional ham or dish with ham in it?
