I am fairly new to using the crock on a regular basis, but it seems that chicken is the easiest to use, but as far as taste, I love a roast!

I like using all kinds of beef roasts in the crock pot. I usually add potatoes and carrots and onion soup mix. I use the leftovers for beef and noodles the next night.

I like using an eye of the round roast. I add a can of mushroom soup, a quarter can water and an envelope of onion soup to the cooker first, mix it well and then add the roast. I add vegetables and cook low 8 to 10 hours.

I like to take an inexpensive cut of beef (like pieces of round steak) and seer in the iron skillet then place it in a slow cooker prepped with cooking spray. I then put big chunks of carrots, mushrooms, onions and green pepper. I then take a baking potato and wrap it in foil and sit that on top of everything. Cook on low for 8-10 hours and there is a whole meal.
Slow but will get there!

London Broil. It is easy to trim all the extra fat off before putting it in the CrockPot so you can have a nice, low fat meal. I watch for sales on London Broil and stock up because I also use this for making dog food for my old dogs. I dice it up while it is still partially frozen and cook it in beef broth and garlic overnight before adding rice, beans, vegetables, etc. to make their food.
The Almighty will provide regardless of any opposing circumstance!
Chicken wings or thighs. I recently made pork and sauerkraut that was tasty.

My favourite is B/S chicken thighs. It doesn't get dry, has lots of flavour and holds up well in the crockpot.

I like all kinds of meat, but my LEAST favorite is London Broil. Seems no matter how I cook it or how I cut it, it is always coming out tough as shoe leather and almost unchewable.
