the only thing i think i have read about putting milk and things of that nature (like cream) is that it shouldn't be added until about 30-45 minutes before the end of cooking time. but i haven't made anything with milk in it yet. google it; that's always my answer!

So yesterday I adjusted a recipe and crock potted it. It's potato soup, and calls for milk. Now, I did it on high, and didn't put as much milk in it as usual because I was crocking it. But, what are the "real" rules on milk in crock pots - anyone know?
