I have actually never shredded the chicken.......I always just place the whole breast in for whatever recipe. Call me lazy, I guess. ;) Seriously, though, it doesn't make a difference, in my opinion.
Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must first set yourself on fire.
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, breathe, and just hold on till the ride stops...
Excellence is the result of caring more than others think wise, risking more than others think safe, dreaming more than others think practical, and expecting more than others think possible.
I put a whole chicken in the crockpot all the time. Just season it to your liking and cook on low like you would do anything else!
Check SP's crockpot cooking recipes. Just use the part about cooking the chicken breasts.

Hello everyone! Is there a way to just use the crock pot to cook just regular frozen chicken breasts in? I love how tender the crockpot makes chicken and would love in incorporate the chicken into other dishes like salads or casseroles. It seems cooking chicken and shredding it takes up the most time when preparing dinner, so having this step already done in the crock pot would be a huge help.
