Yeah, not all recipes can be left on that long. No matter what people say,. the crockpot can burn things on low!! haha
Anyway, one I like when I am goign to be gone really long is veggie soup. Take chicken broth and water and whatever veggies you want. I like canned tomatoes, mixed veggies (frozen) and my honey likes when I throw in potatoes. Put in spices (garlic, pepper, a lil salt if the tomatoes are low sodium) and let it cook all day. Sooo yummy. You can put in chicken too.
A lot I used lean beef cuts and change the broth to beef broth low sodium.
