Breakfast. Its easier to make something on the weekends. I get up early during the week. It is more difficult to cook something during the week. Instant oatmeal can work, but it can get kind of bland after 2 or 3 days of it.

scrambled egg and 2 pieces of bacon and 1 cup of low fat milk. That is my protein breakfast.

Well, banana is not on my menu for quite a while-had a problem with a little of it the other day.
I tried 1/4 teaspoon of a mashed banana and was sicker than sick-spitting up all day-called my surgeon's nurse and she said I was dumping. It stopped at the end of the day and I was on clear liquids-pushing that fluid in to keep from getting dehydrated.
She told me no fruit at all yet-not time. Tummy is not ready. Lesson learned. I don't want to feel like that again.

All is well now and moving forward-overly careful and keeping to the special diet for this month.

I eat 2 protein shakes a day, 3 meals -2 tablespoons of a protein that is on my current diet stage. I can only get in 2 tablespoons-that is all my pouch will allow right now. I understand that later on in a few months I will be able to get in 3-4 ounces per meal.
I drink plenty of fluids and take my vitamins, b12 and calcium with D3.

I've been having fruit and nuts in the morning. It really fills me up without spiking my blood sugar. I try to stick with low carb fruits like berries. Frozen fruit has helped me get in low carb fruit that's not in season.
