according to medical standards, anything that isn't carbonated, has sugar/artificial sweetners/colorings can be considered a clear liquid- water, coffee, or tea... I find that cold water actually hurts my stomach so I drink room temperature and I it has become a habit to drink at least two major gulps every 20-30 minutes, more when I am exercising, so I find getting my fluids it. but tea would be counted as "water" if it's not full of caffeine or sugar stuff.
be authentically you... it's journey, not a one day hike.
