I somersized before my wedding and lost 20 pounds, then fell off the horse on our honeymoon. Monday I started Somersizing again and I lost 4.5 pounds. I'd love to help out with recipe info, or questions because I feel like I know the program pretty well. My goal this time is to Somersize for life this time. Obesity runs in my family and I don't want to be heavy anymore so I know something drastic has to happen. Somersizing is the only plan that I've been successful with. So far I'm loving and not feeling deprived at all!!! :o)

I have only myself to blame for being overweight. I DO know how to lose weight! Now I just gotta do it!!

After not exercising regularly during my 10-day holidays vacation and eating horribly (I didn't start the Somercise diet until January 4th, 2012 after getting back from vacation), I was concerned about eating all the fat on this Somercise diet. But I saw a post on Suzanne Somer's website saying you can't have too much fat, so I decided to just give it a try and listen to my body. I've been eating things liek bacon, heavy cream, full fat mayo (Suzanne suggests Best Buy Mayo), full fat cheeses like Smoked Gouda and Muenster, etc. I know they say to only weigh weekly, but I can't help myself. I weigh every morning! The first day, I was pissed when I gained a pound. I worked out last night at the gym with weights and fully expecetd to gain since I'd only done weights once in the past 10 days, but was pleased this morning when I had lost a pound! Encouraging! I fully realize it may take a few days for the weight workouts to show on the scale in the form of weight gain (since i may be gaining any muscle lost during vacation), but that's why I've been measuing myself too so I can see results and not get discouraged or wonder if I'm making progress after all my efforts. So stay tuned, and post your progress here too!
