I DO my workouts in the morning, but they vary. I belong to a fitness center and rely heavily on classes. I do two classes on Mondays and Fridays, and one class on T/W/Th. My husband and I hike on the weekends and I also am part of a woman's group training for a 5K in May.

I can do strength training or gym workouts whenever, but my run is strictly a morning thing. My route isn't through the safest places in the world and I'm running solo, so I am often creeped out by someone else on the road when I run in the evening. Early in the morning, there is no one else out but the runners and dog walkers, and I can come home and shower off the sweat before starting my day energized and proud of myself.
I like to get my workout first thing in the morning or at lunch time. I found that when I am super busy at work, it is sometime difficult to go away from my desk - for lunch or gym... So it is better for me to start my day with exercise - that way there is no excuse to get it done!
Way to go to the very early bird!!! I can't imagine doing that... I have a difficult time falling asleep at night but I am always up at 0600 - alarm or not... but getting up earlier than that would be difficult!

I do try to workout first thing in the morning but some days it just isn't possible. I have to be at work by 5:30 so that means getting up by about 2:30 to get in a workout....if I don't get to bed early enough (before 8pm), I can't do a morning workout.

For me the first thing I do when my feet hit the floor is to drink 16 oz of water with 1Tablespoon of lemon juice in it. Then I put on my workout clothes, grab my shoes and walk or jog for 20 minutes before anyone else gets up. If i have time later I will do more in 10 to 20 minute sessions.
