Good luck as you move on with your life. I hope you learned a few things along the way on your journey to better health. I learned that I cannot do it alone i need the support of others to keep going week after week and i find that at SP.
I hope you can find another site that meets your needs as it sounds as if you are leaving SP.
I am going to see how many miles I can go in 2013. maybe i can walk, run or jog my way to Europe or Australia, or maybe just to Hawaii but no matter where 2013 takes me I am dedicated to getting healthy and maintaining a healthy weight for the rest of my life.
Best wishes to you
Congrats to everyone who tried and especially to everyone who ACHIEVED 2012 or 201.2 miles this year. I sure didn't. And I let the ball drop on this group. I apologize; I learned a lot this year and one of the biggest lessons I learned is that Spark People is no longer a useful tool for me.
Please send me a private message if you have completed your goal this year and I will send you a SPARK GOODIE. I don't have the funds to pay for rent and groceries right now let alone to make medals.
Everyone who tried and succeeded at this goal should be so proud of themselves - and deserves a huge round of applause.
I apologize for being an absent team leader - I hope your motivations were enough to keep you going, because if there is one thing I learned this year, it has to be done on our own, ultimately, no matter how things seem outside.
to the New Year and if anyone wants to continue this on for 2013 in 2013, go for it. I have officially stepped down from the leader of the group.
