I'm w/ you ... 4 more hrs each day would help me immensely!!! BUT to get to the business of miles ... I walked a good 5 - 10 miles in 3 days HOWEVER it was a slow walk (looking @ all the displays, etc @ the Tucson Gem Show) BUT often I was weighted down w/ at least 10 lbs of stuff. I'd say it was 10 miles minimum total now that I think about it!!

Sorry Earthy, I've been busy. My work consumes my life towards the end of the month. I am getting in 10 - 45 minutes of some kind of activity (walking or jazzercise or just plain ol' exercises) daily but it's hard for me to track any kind of miles as I walk around and around the casino or the house. We have IGT and Gaming in @ work this week - SO I'm somewhat stifled in what I can do. BUT I am going to Tucson - leaving 6 PM Sun nite and fly home @ 2 PM Wed. Me and a very good old friend that lives there are going to the Gem Show. Meeting up w/ a school buddy I went K thru 12 with. LOTSA walking there!! I will have my laptop and will try to log in every day - but time always escapes me on these little trips. I keep my calorie counting bracelet w/me ALWAYS! The friend that lives there is also a HS friend who is a little older than me and lived about a block & a half from me during those yrs. She uses gluten free as her diet regimen (but I have trouble w/ too much rice plugging up my works! LOL) and she likes to walk. I'll be OK and brought a few whole wheat based products (snacks) in my bag so I won't get blocked up. So the next 2 days I will be busy TCB-ing before the trip!!

Sorry I haven't been on or tracking like I should be BUT working in a sport book at this time of year gets a little overwhelming as I have to do a bit more studying of info to be well informed for my customers. Also going to Tucson Gem Show leaving late afternoon Jan 29 till Wed Feb 1 (my reg days off) .... good news is I'm staying on track w/ calories staying below 1700/day ... working on trimming a few more here and there to stay within 1500. It's tough to keep in line. I can't eat many raw fruits or veggies cuz I have false teeth and can only wear the uppers. It's a TRUE challenge!

GREAT goal Nevada!!! I LIKE IT!! I sure wish that I could join you for walks and hikes but, alas, I work weekends!! Please let me know if you hear of anyone in northern NV that lives close to Minden or Gardnerville or even north Carson (This last could offer some lunchtime walks!!) Thanks girl!! Let's get healthy and fit in 2012!!!
