My NSVs: 1. Face and neck look thinner than work ID 2. Ankles/legs are not swelling 3. Sleeping longer (I used to sleep 3 or 4 hours a night) 4. I can tie my shoes easily 5. I'm not winded climbing the stairs (I use to plan on not climbing the stairs until I was ready to go to bed; there was always a pile of stuff at the bottom of the stairs to carry up at bedtime!) 6. I take heartburn medicine less frequently

This is glorious! I wonder if you are aiming too low??? You obviously have a lot of muscle in whole body. And your exercising is reducing fat and adding muscle, which is heavier than fat. Hmmm Just wondering...
What you put your focus on you will get. Think of what you DON'T want and you'll get more of it. Think only of what you DO want and that's what will come!

I am forcing myself to write something positive about my NSV. The scale is sooo motivating and I am not losing inches either. I wrote a blog about a preference in losing one or the other and yes, I'd like to lose inches so that I could at least go down a pant size or two.
Anyway...I am going to do this positive "writing" from head to toe:
HAIR: It has grown a lot since working out and having to wash twice a week. Not only is moisture good for hair so is sweating/exercise.
FACE: Slimmed a little but nothing that is extremely noticeable however my skin is better which I assume is from drinking so much water.
NECK: This is the skinniest thing on my body and shows that I have lost weight more than anything!!!
CHEST: I can see my clavicle again...
ARMS: Bat wings still available but PURE muscle on top
FOREARMS: Slimmer and toned
WRIST: Smaller and can wear a lot of my old bangles
HANDS: I can wear my wedding ring again
STOMACH: My 3 (back around breast area, mid-section & kangaroo pouch) rolls are smaller
THIGHS: Toned on top but still flabby in the back so I'm hoping & & will help...
KNEES: The old fat and dimples that were there is GONE! I no longer have joint issues and can walk up and down my stairs without a problem let alone jog. I live on the 2nd floor...yes, I had problems walking up and down 1 flight of stairs...whew I remember those days and am so happy they are gone!
CALVES: Toned as normal...always the first muscle to get toned since high school.
ANKLES: NO MORE PAIN and hope to complete a 1/2 marathon in October!!!
FEET: They would swell so bad...ALL GONE!!! I can wear a decent wedge or hell if I want and am comfortable on my feet because I am not so heavy and my ankles support me!!!
Overall, I have a lot to be thankful for regarding NSV. Not to be a Debbie Downer...just wish the darn scale would move! I wish everyone the most continued success with both NSV & SV!
I can simplify my life and lighten my burdens by deciding realistically what I want to do and what I have time to do. (~_^)

I like many here am much harder on myself than anyone else. We so want to progress on this journey that we tend to forget about just how well we are doing.
I think it helps to make a list of all the NSV (non scale victories) that we have had. Such as cloths too loose or fitting better. Seeing our feet....
After you complete the list take time to appreciate just how well you are doing and give yourself credit.
We did not gain weight overnight thus we will not lose weight overnight.
Later I will post my list of NSV's and if anyone else would like to share as well that would be wonderful.
