I feel i know you gals a little better. Sunshine I pray at your age I won't be working anymore but I fear I might have to be! I'm a slow reader but I did recently go through the hunger games trilogy. With Olympics around the corner that book sounds like a good read for when I relax on the deck. Lily I love all kinds of movies too except the ones like SAW and Nightmare on Elm St kind.

MRSVK - NEVER consider housework a hobby! We wouldnt want any guys getting any ideas! You seem to love the outdoors and your pic is proof of that! You look so young so the outdoors love you too.

1) SLEEP - when I can get it between a 3 and 5 year old
2) Fill-In Crossword Puzzles - never can complete a whole one but love the mental challenge
3) Going Junking - this is simply going to yard sales & thrift stores looking for cool things
4) Watching a Great Movie - Not necessarily going to the movies but watching a great flick
5) Watching Reruns - I love old TV shows (Golden Girls, Law & Order, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, One Day at a Time, etc.)

I can simplify my life and lighten my burdens by deciding realistically what I want to do and what I have time to do. (~_^)

I love to read. I go through one to two novels a week, depending on how fast I read. lol

I also love to paint. I'm not good at acrylic and making pretty pictures. My painting only goes as far as material. I love painting on fabric. I used to only do shirts, but I'm branching out now. I have a few projects I'm currently working on and need to spend more time with. However, I'm VERY picky about my painting. I'm really my worst critic. I really get into detail and want perfection to the point of using toothpicks instead of paint brushes. LOL

I don't normally take pictures of stuff I paint, however my nephew wanted me to make him a Spiderman shirt when he was 4 or 5 (now 12). I have a picture of that shirt because it's the only project I've ever REALLY been proud of.

I uploaded the picture of the Spiderman shirt. It's in my photo gallery if you want to see it.

Running to the refrigerator is not considered exercise.

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!

Play guitar and sing in a group. Research on the computer. Oh, and at 72 I'm still working 4 days a week.

I fear I'm a hobbyless person...lol I like to hike, walk the dog, camp, fish and just generally play outside. Inside I just read(avidly),watch TV or reluctantly do housework.

Just wondering what some of you all do to keep yourself busy outside of the diet.

I do some knitting or crocheting and when I'm off and the weather is good my yard and garden keep me busy. I have a small dog who loves to go for walks in the park or on the bike trail.
