Thanks ladies. I really feel so much better after exercising. It is a rather foreign thing for me to experience.
I have decided that I will be doing a 5k next month so I will be starting to push for more distance in my walks on the treadmill. Today I did 1.5 miles in 30 minutes then the 5 minute cool down. I want to be doing 2 miles a day in a week time. I love the programs on the treadmill at the gym as it allows me to set how many miles I wish to do so it will make it easier to achieve this goal.
After the treadmill I did 40 minutes on the elliptical (9 miles) plus the 4 minute cool down.
Strength training will begin this week if I can get in contact with the gentleman who is going to help me with a good plan of attack.
I joke often that I am doing daily torture sessions at the gym but I really do enjoy my time there.
