Not to be the devil, but pure cocoa powder is only 15 calories a tablespoon. It is the sugar and the fat that have the big calories in chocolate candy, etc. So putting cocoa into a smoothie and then adding a no-cal sweetener would give you all the benefits and taste of chocolate.......maybe?
But, having said that........I agree with previous post. Way too many food adds everywhere.... In fact an add was showing on this site for something like Coca-Vita when I was reading your post!! I am trying to avoid all food but the essential. I can seriously feel my mouth watering and tummy rumbling when the food commercials come on or I read a recipe in a magazine. So I am avoiding those now as well as doctor shows and cooking shows. You end up watching those doctor shows and have a list of things to eat that you absolutely need to be healty. I am also avoiding getting involved in fancy food preparations for social events.
I hear you....the last thing I need right now is chocolate other than my protein shakes.

If i have to hear one more time about how healthy dark chocolate is today I am going to scream! I know I will never divorce myself completely from chocolate but for now we are separated other than by shake flavor ( but we all know its just not the same!) I can't let this news about dark chocolate being good for me fool me into reconciling with chocolate right now. Anyone know where I can get an order of protection????? :)
