It depends on what you mean don't feel good. Because when I say that, I usually mean that I'm very sick and I have a fever. But if it's because you haven't slept and your tired and cranky or moody, then you need a nap. You need to catch up on your sleep.
If you're worried about things, maybe you need to distract yourself from thinking of those things. All we can do is what we know how to do, after that, unless you can get help from somewhere, it's time to let it go or not think of it for a while. There are a lot of ways to distract yourself from your problems you can try to have fun. What's fun for you? And of course, you are here to lose weight, so you might want to think of active things. Do any sports appeal to you? Anything that you really enjoy or you'd like to try out? Now is the time!
Some people feel better when they pray, or write in a gratitude journal, or go to worship services. Connecting with your spiritual self can help you feel calmer, and help you feel that there is a purpose to your life and that there are a lot of reasons to be healthy. With the magic of the internet, you can even read sermons online, do yoga along with videos, read sacred texts, or meditate to devotional music. Every religion, every denomination is on the internet, and you can connect with whoever you want. You can be eclectic and get wisdom from several sources, or you can stick with the tried and true that you grew up with. The choice is yours!
If you just feel a general blah feeling about everything and don't know why, it more than likely will go away when you start exercising. Because exercise can help your moods to improve by changing the chemicals in our brains. It reduces chemicals that make us feel nervous, and we even experience less hunger. You may also need to change the way you eat to lose weight. If losing weight is one of the things that is bothering you, you will feel better when the pounds start falling off.
Another thing that usually helps people is staying connected with people who are important to you. Make time to keep your family and friends in your life. Listening to music can help too!
I find when I am not feeling good its a test. Test on whether I will do what I'm suppose to do when I am being challenged. Sure I make compromises in life. But those things that are very important, we shouldn't have to compromise. There's a greater good staying on track, I would rather have my default set on that.
