My goals for this 100 day journey are simple:

1. Move a minimum of 10 minutes a day (beyond work and life) to get me back in the habit of exercising.
2. Be more active on SP to get those healthy habits back.

I believe that this is my 8th 100 Day Challenge emoticon ... each one gets a little easier to stick with, passes a lot faster and has become more successful than the one before it emoticon Not surprising since practice makes perfect and if you don't quit then you can't fail emoticon

Had to suspend my 100 Day Challenge Due to Heart Surgerypn Oct 5 and thought I would be able to bounce right back in to it, but due to an infection this has not happened and mine is still suspended as of today 10/27.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak emoticon

emoticon team for all your emoticon on my Lucky 777 Challenge... our 7th grandson was born July 22... 9 lbs. 13 oz. 21.25" he's healthy and happy. His 18 month old brother is thrilled to have a "mini-me". Mommy is going back to teaching next month and guess who gets to take care of the 2 under 2 pack???? Meeeeeeeeeeeeee well at least for a couple days a week. I'm so excited to be such a big part of their daily lives since I'm pretty sure this is the last of the grand-babies for us *sniff* *sniff* but a little freaked out because... let's face it... they are so young and I am old emoticon

I've looked at the calendar and this Wednesday, August 20th marks 100 days until Thanksgiving emoticon my favorite holiday... and autumn is my favorite season so starting Wednesday, 8/20/14, I'll be countin' down the 100 days to Thanksgiving and a healthier me. I'm still working out on a regular basis, something that I hadn't done in quite some time. I'm enjoying doing yoga,this is also relatively new to me. And I'm trying to eat healthier and calm my sweet tooth. Oh and I just baked some sparkpeople peanutbutter oatmeal cookies from a recipe on the site. I plan on taking these with me today to my mom's and eat them 66cal . when I get that sweet craving. Now that's a plan.

Well I'm still exercising consistently. I do yoga daily and I'm starting to add some sort of aerobics. I've had a setback I've gained 2.2lbs. I plan on changing my food choices and try not to get tempted with sweets. emoticon I've been a bad girl so no one's fault but my own.
I'm looking forward to getting healthier with all of you.

I believe this is where I am to announce my 100 day challenge. My challenge is inspired by Sunflowergal's theme. It really motivated me.

Pray: every morning
Eat: stay below 1500 calories and focus on nutrition
Move: a minimum of 10 minutes of heart rate pumping exercise

I intend to post each day's results here to be accountable. Right now a 100 days seems like a huge committment but I will work hard to make it happen!

Holy cow I'm almost half way through emoticon time fly's when you are having fun emoticon

Continue to eat healthy meals between 1200-1400 calories a day... I haven't been recording everything I eat/drink... that glass of wine or Margarita, those couple cookies mid afternoon, that small bowl of ice cream in the evenings just don't quite make it on my tracker emoticon So I'm recording everything now and staying below 1400 calories.. I'm fooling no one and only hurting myself so tweaking my goals a bit should help me drop the last 11.2 pounds I want to get off in the next 8 weeks emoticon

Today is day 1 for me again! My goal for the next 100 days is to get as many steps in each day as possible. I would like to get between 7,500 and 10,000 steps each day. Gonna keep it simple this time around so hopefully I will stick to it longer.

I have three parts to my 100 Day challenge. The first, part is to find something that makes me happy for the next 100 days. The second part is to exercise for the next 100 days (mins. Minimum). The third part is to do nothing healthy for the next 100 days (eat fruit, eat vegetables drink water etc.). I will also be Blogging about what I have accomplished as well.

We previously had a "check in" thread but it was not really a place to check off on goals. It was more a place to stop by each day and let us know how you are doing. That one kind of faded out as folks faded away. emoticon When I recently redid a lot of the threads to try to get folks back on track and involved I didn't leave that on here.

However, there are several places for celebrating victories and searching for encouragement. The most visited thread is the top one "Countdown to spring" where more people seem to stop by and report how they are doing each day or week.

Hope this answers your question and makes sense! emoticon This team thing is new to me so I'm always open to suggestions to make things better. So glad you are here with us!

Starting officially January 01,2014
1. No coffee
2. No peanuts/peanut butter/ or food with it in.
3. Drink Warm water with Juice of 1/2 lemon, each morning as soon as I wake up.
4. Look at myself in mirror and smile, at least once a day.
5. Eat 5 cups of veggies a day.
6. Eat 2 fruit servings a day.
7. No white food
8. No corn/corn products/or supplements/vitamins with corn in it.
9. No Dairy Products
10Eat 2 Tablespoons ground Flax seed daily
11Eat 6 whole eggs a week + egg whites as desired.
12Eat 1 Tablespoon of olive oil or 1/2 teaspoon of ghee daily.

I live in the EST, posted for need of challenge leaders.
