It better have a couple starting pitchers in it. If Buck is healthy, he is good for about 25 starts tops; Beckett and Lester need to pitch as well as they did until September, and the Sox still need more starting pitching. At least they aren't going into the season counting on Lackey and Dice-K. Looks like they shored up the relief corp. They could also use an outfielder, with or without a healthy Crawford (won't be ready to start the season due to surgery), ditto an injured Kalish. It will be a lot like last year as far as this team will score a ton of runs, but how much will they give up?

my parents always told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say, then I shouldn't say anything at all. I have written and deleted several responses, have decided I'd better take my parents advice..
That said, I am enjoying everyone else's responses!!
It's not a diet, it's not exercise, it's a way of life. Period.
Every year, in February, Red Sox fans get pumped up about "the truck" packing up and heading south for spring training. But, is that all its about?
This year, it means (in no particular order):
1. Winter is coming to an end. 2. Last year is over. 3. Off season plans begin to take root. 4. The new "JetBlue Park @ Fenway South" will open for business. If you don't know about it check it out.... http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/ballpark/ jetblue_park.jsp
