No, can't forgive the wife beating or the banned substances, just appreciate that he was a major reason that I saw not one, but two World Championships for which I had waited my entire life! He made me laugh more times than I can count and it makes me sad that for whatever reason, someone who was so great had to fall so far.

This was painful; not as bad as 2003, but almost. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks the Yankees blew the game against the Rays on purpose! It's tough to be a Red Sox fan sometimes, but it would be even more difficult to not be. Heck, despite EVERYTHING, I still love Manny!

It sure was an exciting end of the season. Painful, but exciting. This is the only thing that I have read that makes me feel a little less like someone punched me in the gut, stole my puppy and kicked sand in my face.
