That is funny! I workout in the morning and during the day when I look at nutrition labels on items like that trying to decide if I really want it that bad I am always astonished. I am always like I would have to be at the gym for the whole day to burn off the calories in that! :). Great way to get her moving too kjellybean15. :)

I listen to KLOVE but I must have missed that. It's a great way to get the family moving though.

Last week my 12 year old asked me to take her to the convenience store 2.2 miles away from our house so she could get some candy. I told her that she could have such candy only if she walked to the store and back to get it. She decided she would try walking that far on the treadmill. After the 1st mile she said it was crazy for someone to walk that far and the candy wasn't worth it. Made me laugh.

Brilliant idea....LOGGING the family :-) I have the luxury of a FITBITOne and love it as it logs all my activity, miles etc. for me and uploads to Spark and FITBIT Dashboard...great tool....a chart work wonders too ...Cheers and thanks for sharing..

So I was listening to KLOVE the other day and they had a fantastic idea on how to motivate yourself and your family to get moving. There is this mom who's family was begging her to go to an amusement park about an hour and half away from there house, so she told them they could go if they walked there. (They didn't literally have to walk to the amusement park all at one time.). The mom made a chart, and every time they biked, walked, or got moving she logged the distance they went on her chart. After they had logged all 90 miles, they got to go to the park.
I think this is an awesome idea to motivate the whole family, and I know we will be doing this! I hope you find it to be a great tool as well! Have a great day, and remember to get moving!
