Wow ! Look at all the motivation you got!! Awesome - helped me too! And it's true. Getting my butt to the gym is the hardest part - once I get there, I love it. And I feel so good when I'm done. Funny thing about this challenge is that even tho I'mj a gym rat, when I finish the daily video, I am so proud of myself - lol. Like the Nike commercial says, Just Do It!!
I'm working on keeping all the promises I make to myself - I'm worth it!

When I need to get Moving I either dance or plug in the ipod to my favorite tunes and go for a walk. DO something that you enjoy to get you moving. Do you have a favorite video? Favorite wii game, If I need to get moving I will say to my kids pop just dance in and let's go! Good Luck !! You can do this! We all can!

I have been falling down on the 30 minutes of cardio for practically every day. Even when I was going to the gym more regularly with a friend it was usually 3 x a week.
But I have been largely able to do the 10 minutes.
Yesterday, due to weird confluence of events, I ended up repeatedly climbing up and down some sets of stairs to fuss with a snow-mobile and some other things instead of official cardio - I decided I could count it as heavy housecleaning.
Maybe the cry for motivational help here will not get me to the gym tonight - but will get me to do some light housecleaning that sorely needs to be done instead of going home to nap. - only to then have disrupted sleep.

You need to review why you are in the program and what your goals are....every morning, before lunch and dinner and in the morning set aside time in the day that you ARE going to do this. Then report to someone here and tell them you DID it.
I joined Pilates classes at my gym. It's amazing that I will get myself to the class, when I could find a zillion excuses not to do anything else. Now I have made friends and it has become a social thing as well as a healthful accomplishment. Love it even when it wears me out.
I have exercised on and off, sometimes with much intensity sometimes just walking for 49 years. I have dreaded going in to the gym to get going. Sometimes I have hated it while I was doing the exercise. However, I have NEVER, EVER regretted it afterward. Take 5 minutes and do a short video, a bit later, do another video. Tomorrow, do three videos. You CAN do this. Dwell on why you started this journey in the first place and see if that gets you through a video or ten minutes on the treadmill. You have the power, you have the desire and you have a need to do this for yourself!
Put on some favorite tunes and just dance! Move and groove! You can do this! You can do anything.
When my kids were little and they'd complain, "But Mommy, I don't WANT to clean my room!" I'd say, "That's okay! You don't have to WANT to do it. But you still HAVE to do it. It will be more fun if you want to, but that's up to you."
It comes down to what you want more for your life in the long term. Love yourself enough to want a healthy, fit life! You deserve it!!

You can do this, Weaver! Baby steps are all you need, as long as you are taking steps. Remember that this challenge is to get you in the habit of doing SOME form of exercise every day. 10 minutes. You can do it. Form a habit!

well, you made it to the computer lets see if you can do some chair exercises while you are just sitting there. I tell you what - you do some and so will I. I have about 45 minutes left at work but can do at least 5-7 minutes of chair exercises.
