It's been a little over a week and I went to a football gathering and I only had one glass of wine. I'm so proud of myself because I know beer has contributed to this gut I have. I lost one inch in a week.

If you can't stop with one, that don't have any. It is just like candy or chips to some people. I love beer, but I have gave it up for the New Year. Your liver also needs a break.

I'm like you - a bottle or nothing. I quit on 1/1 because I have to if I want to lose weight. I miss it too, but it's worth it!

I'm all or nothing. I either have to quit cold turkey or I can easily go through a bottle. It's been about two months since quitting. I miss it but I was packing on the lbs.

I am also a wine lover; I have been putting it in my nutrition tracker. I look at where I stand at the end of the day- if I have some calories 'left', I'll have a glass. I put the glass on the food scale, though, so I know how much I should have (and how to put it in the nutrition tracker accurately). I make sure I stick to the one glass, too! I haven't given up wine yet... it's a 'quality of life' issue for me! emoticon

There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.

I am a wine lover :) I let myself have a glass when I am REALLY craving it...otherwise I try not to drink it other than special occasions. I find having to drink all this water really doesn't give me time to drink anything else :)

They say a little is ok. Just work at it one day at a time. Change your routine. Good luck.

Even though I've experienced bouts of no weight loss in the past, if I am honest with myself, I didn't do all I could, such as, not drinking alcohol and not weight training. That all changes as of yesterday. I'm only going to have a couple of drinks on special occasions such as my brother/sister's combined birthday party and a Mardi Gras ball. I'm going to weight train at least three times a week. I also love watching TV, but I'm going to jump rope, lift weights during commercials. Good luck everyone! emoticon

The most important task of the battle is admitting that you have an issue. That empowers you to do something about it!

I must stop drinking wine daily. I start with a sip and drink 4 glasses. It's a bad habit! emoticon
