I am also from FL, The Sunshine State and moved to NC. The weather is the biggest adjustment for me and location, location. I was one mile from Tampa Bay and it was so easy just to walk out the door to go for a run. I am also taking baby steps, using the food tracker, 8 glasses of water and The Spark Challenge.

I enjoyed reading about your film project! It is exciting to try out new things and attempt to educate people about the things they never thought about before. Like you I am taking small steps--walked the dog for 20 minutes and had a protien filled breakfast.
Went back to the treadmill yesterday.... have been watching what I'm eating..
TODAY I want to start in earnest... most important thing for me right now is to remember to drink water! It's our first winter in the Carolinas (we're from South Florida), and though I used to swizzle the H2O like crazy down there, I'm finding the cool weather means I'm drinking more tea (and green tea) and coffee... in smaller containers than the large water glasses I used to use.
