CathyJElady, that is another catagory. I think it's moving, carrying boxes. Something like that. Check it out. I was just browsing through it one day and saw all these.

I like the heavy housecleaning cardio too. I have used it many times. I only put it down if my heart rate is raised, that is just me. I like to scrub my floors on my hands and knees, so I do get a good work out. I have a large house, so even running around putting things away may raise my heart rate, you know up & down steps and all.
I thought it was Great of SP to have cleaning on here. Sometimes, cleaning is all I get to, but if it is a good cleaning, it works!!

Last night I spent an hour scrubbing my mother's floors on my hands and knees. It was a great workout. Definitely a full workout. My 90 year young Mom was thrilled, and I felt really good about it.

Yes. You can go to calorie counter web-sites and type in the amount of house cleaning you are doing and it will calculate the calories burned.

Good question, It is over 40 degrees Celsius here so there isn't much cardio going on, but I have cleaned the house like a whirl wind
