just read your blog about getting ready for the 5k, dxwalker1.
sista, you said a lot there. all things ARE possible with God. keep the faith and know that YOU can do all things through Messiah who strengthens you. the greater the challenge, the greater the victory and the more glory we can give to our Creator.

thanks for your msg.
determination, i have!!! yet, right now, energy is another matter. am doing some battling with insomnia and, too, fatigue associated with hepatitis c. yet, i know that difference is here due to all the "spark" i've experienced in the last few days. it's like i've found what i've been praying for.

It's depressing when I wake up one day and realize in 27 years I have gained 100 pounds, I'm shaking it off and making this happen. I don't necessarily want to lose the 100 pounds, but at least 50%. I know this group full of motivated, hard hitting go-getters can help!

After many years and adjusting to my husband's death really put me in a dizzy. I finally said that the reasons for being fat was not the right way of thinking. So this year I am cleaning up my act even further. I can feel that the time has come for me to change and stop letting fear run my life.

greetings, y'all i'm 62 yrs old and need to quit smoking & lose 65 lbs by the middle of october 2013. was in pretty good shape before the end of december 2000 when i sold all of my bicycles (vision recumbent, cannondale road & specialized touring), along with my home and everything else in order to live in a rig and drive over-the-road for seven years. picked up a lot of poor eating & sleeping habits and started smoking up to a pack of cigarettes a day. Since getting out of the truck, i haven't been able to get back on top of things. been dealing with hepatitis c since 2007, without drugs or treatment. have finally started a natural, herbal regimen that seems to help in many ways. so, now i can focus on other health concerns & i'm so glad for that and that you all are out there! i look forward to participating in this challenge and will do all i can to ensure the success i know we will achieve. let's go all out for it.
