I just had my second hand surgery in a month and I'm still recovering from the last one (Dec. 26). That is my obstacle right now, but I'm not going to quit. I know this is just a short term setback. So I went back to my short-med.- long term goals and updated them. It was great to see I have made some progress and now I need to challenge myself again.

I am a bit behind on the videos. I have had a bad headache and backache for the past few days- hoping its not that dreaded flu. But, aside from today, I have gotten in my 60 minutes of cardio (walking and running). I guess one day off is okay!! Hopefully I will be back on track tomorrow!!

You're going to do great! One step at a time is the way to go. Doing too much too quick might show quick results but you'll be more likely to burn out faster in my experience. Good luck! I hope you are able to get some exercise in today!

Stacey. Why wait until tomorrow? Why not start today. Remember, if you have not been exercising for a while you should start slow. Every little bit helps. We are here to help you stay motivated. Today, I am starting again. For breakfest I had 2 toaster waffles, half a banana, 3 slices of turkey bacon, glass of water, and a coffee with low fat cream and 1 sweetener. I am a self admitted junk food addict...mostly chocolate is something I cant give up. So i am going to limit myself to one lindor chocolate today and for snack tonight have a zip lock bag with popcorn. Compared to the non stop junk snacking I usually do this is a big change! I am going to do some cardio in my room and streches for 30 mins. One day at a time. I will check in tomorrow and keep motivated that way. I also find it helps to put on your work out clothes and running shoes when you wake up.. so that way even if i dont make it to the gym ill work out a bit at home.I dont have a car and sometimes it can be hard getting to the gym in this cold weather.
