Yesterday: 7:30am walked 2x's around the work building, 6:30pm went to curves zumba today: 7:45am walked for 20 min about 1mile, went to PE and did the elliptical for 2 miles in 20 min, treadmill .50 mile in 15 min, and a circuit for 30 min.
I think I did pretty good so far today since it's only 11:37. My body bug said it considers my day 1.30 hr work out burned 1406 cal , 10687 steps so far this morning.
I tried a SP cookbook breakfast today. It was a smoothie , o'soy yogurt, banana and 1 tbs of peanut butter it was tasty.
I'm heading for Foxwoods tomorrow morning and spending the night as well so I figure I'll get plenty of walking all day as I don't gamble. We are going to see the show "Doo Woop" sounds interesting. We are meeting friends there as well. So I'll talk to you all Sunday if I don't get a chance to log on again.

Yep, the commitment to do something every day for a month was too much for me. And I started to feel crummy. Fact is, for me training for a half marathon, working, going to school at night and helping with my brother's kids during his divorce is enough of a challenge for me right now!

The beauty of the mountain reveals itself only to those who have climbed it.
I live with chronic back pain due a serious fall. When I have a flare up, the only thing that works are my PT exercises and basic walking for cardio. The last one took up to 6 months for a complete heal! Hence my back on SP. Don't over do it because you'll just set yourself back all over again. Let yourself heal.

Healing is the most important at this point. You know that if you had not injured your back you would have completed the challenge. So give yourself a pat(softly) on the back and work with the Dr to get better. In my eyes you finished

Take care of yourself and give yourself plenty of time to recover. Hopefully the doc can help you figure out what is wrong and how to best let it heal and then strengthen it so you don't repeat the problem!
Last week I posted that I had injured my back when I completed Level 1 of of the Bigggest Loser Cardio Max workout video. I was behind by one week of finishing the challenge because of this injury. I rested my back and things improved. So, I tried to complete week four again.
I must have torn a muscle doing that workout video. Anytime I exercise the pain comes back. If I stand too long the pain comes back. It is obviously going to take longer to recover than I originally thought.
I don't have any idea how long this is going to take. But I'm going to the doctor to see how I can better heal.
