The workouts were pretty short and I have felt so good for doing them. I'm going through a period (which lasts months) of being hypothyroid. The last time I was hypothyroid I gained 45 pounds without changing my eating. This time I've managed to gain ZERO due to the exercise and continuing my healthy eating plan. I haven't lost much in these past few months due to my thyroid. Not gaining is really an accomplishment and that is what I have to keep in mind in order to stay on track. Once my thyroid is under control again; my metabolism will enable me to let go of the pounds again. Thank goodness for the January Jumpstart Challenge! I'm planning to continue it and in fact am motivated enough that I'm thinking of joining the local CURVES.
I enjoyed the challenge as it kept me going when I wouldn't have been going much at all :-) Though I didn't complete each week's challenges and won't get the trophy, I'm quite happy with the challenge and very glad I took part in it :-D
