I'm glad to see that I am not the only one that is getting behind. I had the flu for two weeks and that got me behind. My biggest problem now is that I am still exhausted just putting in an 8 hour day at work. I am having a really hard time just doing 10 mins. of exercise. I will get back at exercising.

Good for you MELODY! I'm glad you pushed through and didn't let that little plateau derail your efforts. Every little bit that you do will be a benefit--even if the scale doesn't affirm it right away.

I thought I would have to repeat this week because my assignments are all piling up and are due at the same time but surprisingly I am managing to keep it together. I really was going to give up (temporarily until the end of the month when my assignments are due) after my weigh in when I busted my butt and was the same weight. I read GOIN4GR8's sparkpage who said to not give up because she did not lose the second week and had a big loss the next. That made me determined to try to get it in. I am doing the work but not everyday and have longer workouts but it saves time going to the gym and changing and try to get the sparkvideo's in when I need a break. So far it has worked.

I haven't kept up with the challenge, but joining it has helped me make some progress. I think that's what counts.

Ladies with time constraints. This is a BIG problem for me too, BUT

I WORK OUT AS SOON AS I GET HOME. That mean's leftovers for the family dinner or they wait until I've exercised AND taken a shower. We're really talking 30 minutes (i.e. 20 minutes cardio and 10 minutes strength training).

I have yet to complete week 1 just due to time constraints but i styill plan to do all 4 weeks, regardless of the actual challenege. it's more a challenge for me than competing against anyone else.

I had terrible tooth pain and then had two teeth extracted so I am completing the workout challenge but not completing in a regular week. Plus next week I am having a medical procedure , jury duty and volunteering with senior taxes. emoticon

My life tomorrow will be the result of my attitudes and the choices I make today.

I'm in a similar boat. Life has a way of throwing some curve balls that forced me off course. I've made a point of catching up and making sure I complete everything, just not necessarily something every day. I plan on staying in the competition, if for no other reason than I think I stayed true to the "intent" of the competition.

That's fine. You will still be eligible for the challenge.

I have done all the videos each week, though I usually do 2-3 on the same day to coordinate with a fitness class I take, and I didn't add extra last week cuz I did that already on my own when I started the challenge. Does this disqualify me? I missed the part about checking things off when I started this, and now I feel like I'm cheating to say I did things that I didn't do exactly the way they were suggested. Thanks!
