My abs are really sore today! (As were all of my other muscle groups this week!) I am really loving feeling like I am working all of my muscles now though! I have been mostly walking for exercise up to this point so I am really excited to be adding some strength training too! I am glad to not be the only one who had trouble with the side planks too!

I never had an issue with cramps in my abs during exercise, but I have in my hips and legs... I stretch more and that seems to fix the issue. So maybe you just need to warm up and stretch a bit more before you start.
I started with crunches. I had such a horrible cramp in my upper abbs that I had to stop. I have never encountered cramps like that when doing crunches in the past. Does anyone know why this might happen and how I can prevent it in the future? Thanks
I accidentally did it yesterday (so doing arms today) but let me tell ya... I am sooooo feeling it today! It kind of amazes me that as much as I clearly use those muscles that they are still so totally out of shape lol.
