Hello team!

Instead of working first today, I am checking on the teams first. It is really weird... All the teams I lead are small and mostly inactive. However, these teams are what I am interested in. So, basically, I cheer myself on! LOL For those of you that DO participate, your are appreciated!

Last night, I finished reading "Eat To Trim" by Joyce Vedral, again. What I find most helpful out of the entire book are the breakfast suggestions. I am NOT a breakfast person. So, her fast breakfasts will come in handy.

How is your water intake coming along? Do you believe in drinking nothing but water or do you treat yourself to something else on occasion?

Have you been spreading your Spark and if so, how? I mailed my mother a care package with all kinds of healthy stuff. She received the care package yesterday and was thrilled!

How is your faith coming along? Are you an active participant at a church or worship on your own?

I need to be writing an article for the religious newspaper I write for, but cannot think of a good topic. I thought about doing an article on Confirmation names, but there was little research on such topic. Any suggestions?

My scale still will not budge. Those 10 pounds are completely impossible for me to imagine gone by summer. But I will do it! By following the suggestions and tweaking recipes in Eat To Trim by Joyce Vedral and JoAnna M. Lund cookbooks, I know I can do it! Also, I will get in more activity to speed up the weight loss. "Walk With Joyce Vedral" is a really good exercise DVD.

I have coupons to clip which is a good stress breaker. I like to consider it "retail therapy"!

What are YOU grateful for today? I am grateful for my family, friends and God.

My housemates are actually cooking their own dinner tonight...chicken & dumplings (yuck). So, I need to figure out what I want instead.

Well, that is my 2 cents for the day. Be good and Spark on!

Well... Last night did not go as planned...

I had wanted to do reviews, read Eat To Trim again and make some make-ahead salads. I got really sleepy. So, I thought I would take a little siesta. I just laid there. But could not sleep. So, then anxiety kicked in. So, I started to review and just got frustrated. So, I did 10 minutes of a Joyce Vedral walking DVD. I got frustrated. Got on my laptop. I got frustrated. Why I was so frustrated is beyond me. I wanted to make some make-ahead salads but the jars needed cleaned and cleaning jars in the middle of the night seemed a bit insane. LOL

Then, I have 3 ice cube trays in the freezer for my iced coffee. This morning I went to make iced coffee and a person used 2 of the trays and did not refill the ice cube trays... Of course, neither housemate will confess.

A friend is taking me to the post office today to mail my mother a care package. I cannot wait! It is a very very healthy care package.

I cannot seem to get past this plateau. I STILL weigh 160 pounds. The scale just will not budge.

I wanted to take on a pro-life team, but got afraid. In the past, I was punished by people for being active in the pro-life movement. I do not want to step on the wrong toes again. I will just keep my beliefs to myself.

My breakfasts are so boring. The same meals day after day. I think it's time to revamp my menus. I don't like to cook and I don't plan meals. I guess I will be making some changes this weekend emoticon

I didn't see a place for daily chatting. Hope you don't mind.

Good Morning Team. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. I'm feeling a lot better this morning than I did yesterday. At least today I can move without having a lot of pain. I flatly did too much at the fitness center Thursday and it kicked my butt. But I'll be there Monday and will go right back to those machines. But I think I'm going to go a little lighter with the weights and build up to the heavier ones. The personal trainer had me doing them at 25 lb weights and I think if I cut down to 20 lbs on them, it won't hurt me so much. Anyway, that's the plan. I won't see the personal trainer again for a month so I can set the weights to suit myself.
