I had my usual breakfast of a Vitamix fruit/vegetable drink and a bowl of whole grain flax cereal with skim milk and raspberries (or whatever fresh/frozen berries I have onhand). Sounds boring to eat the same thing every day but it works for me. Keeps me full until lunch. I always eat within an hour of waking and I never skip breakfast. I have weighed 100 pounds for the past 2 years (I am 5'2" and 60 years old), I don't skip meals and NEVER eat anything after dinner. I lost those 30- 40 pounds I gained over 15 years post menopause and I finally figured out what works for me to keep them off for good. Most important, I never feel denied good food and I'm never hungry during the day. The best thing anyone can do to mainatin a healthy weight: EAT BREAKFAST EVERY DAY!

1/2 cup of pomegranate cranberry juice 100% mixed with a full mason jar of water ( I'm still drinking that) 1 mini wheat bagel with 1T of natural peanut butter. A slice of cheddar cheese and my java!
This was a large b'fast at 345 calories, but it should stick to the ribs for my long morning. ;)

I had a fruit drink of mixed berries, grapes and mango made in my Vita Mix, and a bowl of whole grain flax cereal with skim milk. Sounds kind of boring, but this works for me and fills me up for the duration of the morning and early afternoon. My husband bought me a Vita Mix blender for Valentine's Day and I absolutely love it! I use it almost daily, as it makes great fruit/vegetable drinks and also great soups.

First post, new to this team and sorry haven't had time to post on the intro thread but will. I thought of checking in here because of the blog post I just made about my newest favorite treat lol. Had a 100 percent whole Wheat English Muffin (Thomas) with 1 wedge of the new Laughing Cow Cinnamon Cream Cheese line (1 g sugar, 45 cals). That is a vast improvement over the donuts that I love but have sworn off of. Also had a low carb protein shake and some strawberries.

Whole grain cereal, skim milk and lots of berries on top. The availability of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and cherries this time of year is heaven to me! They are my candy and I can't get enough of them, as the season is so short.

yes, peaches and cream oatmeal. I have been eating a good breakfast for the last couple of weeks and have really noticed how much it helps keep the hunger at bay and gives me more energy to start my day with. I am less hungry in the evening for dinner after a good breakfast and a healthy lunch.

1/2 a big melon, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tbs mixture of tahini, dates and date syrup, blended it all together and poured into a huge mug. Added 1 tbs of chia seeds. Put in fridge for 5 minutes, stir, put back in fridge for another 5 minutes. Eat with spoon. Yummy and filling.
