I feel the stong support of Spark People Teams, and love being a part of this group which I joined quite recently. I had been with a weight loss group called TOPS, and I was continuously yo-yoing. When I renewed my membership with TOPS in April of last year I weighrd 145 pounds. I dropped out of that group last November, and I weighed 141 pounds when I left. I just got serious with SP on February 4th of this year when a Team Leader named GLITTERGIRL69 from the TEAM "I Can't Do This On My Own" taught me how to use the Nutrition Tracker, and has taught me other beneficial things too. It has changed my life. I started at 146 in February and I now weigh 128. I'm so sold on the truth that Spark People works so well because of all the tools & support we have from it. I actually LOVE exercising EVERY DAY. I LOVE RECORDING my FOOD EVERY DAY. I did not like doing these things in the past. I am so motivated! Thank you to Spark People. Janis

Spark People Team Leader, GLITTERGIRL, from Team, "I Can't Do This On My Own", helped me reach my goal in 2012. I was able to maintain my weight for several months, but now I have to get serious again as much of my hard work I let go of, putting my focus on another issue. I will keep on, until I get back to my goal.

Well done that is impressive being on a plateau is hard I am waiting to move off one. I need to get more water drunk and excercise more, it is winter here in NZ and been raining for a week so walks have been out. But next week, although it is school holidays and I am spending time with grandies. Have a great day Jan
Hi there, welcome to the team. You have done great so far. The advice usually given for a plateau is to change things up a bit. Your body gets used to whatever you are doing so you need to change it to get things moving again.

congrats to you for all the work you have been doing untill now and keep up the good work......for now i think you hit a plateau....and i dont have any advice for that:) .....but i m sure the others will respond to you and tell you what you need to do

name is Marion i lived near Seattle . Is there any in the area? i have MS which this is a learning process for a life change. i started my goal in september last year. i was 292. today i am at 220. i started with the Montell juicer, now i work out about 5 days a week. The scale is not moving for me now. i am losing inches. I need to keep going.......... I want to lose about 50 to 65 more..
