I have been weighing 68kg for the last couple of months and not losing any weight, but this morning when I measured myself I lost 1 centimeter from my thighs, one from my hips and one from my calves.

Make Healthy Choices, weight loss is just a side effect.

I have been eating healthier and working out five times a week, but the number on the scale is going up! I know that I feel better and I am gaining muscle so I won't quit it is just discouraging. I have a weight watchers scale the measures body fat through a current through the balls of my feet. I think that it is inaccurate, has anyone else had this problem with a weight watchers scale?

I am concentrating on my emotions and moods, definitely I am in a better mood when I am eating properly. This week I have been eliminating snack unless I am really hungry, no eating out of boredom or stress.

Everything is permissible for me--but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me--but I will not be mastered by anything. 1 Corinthians 6:12

I had a breakthrough yesterday. I am just coming off having had a really bad case of the flu for two weeks, so I haven't really gone out. I spent a lot of time in "inside clothes" and my jammies. Yesterday I had to take my husband to the ER for severe lower back pain. I was amazed when I got dressed in "going out" clothes. They were BIG on me. I've lost 13.4 pounds, and there was definitely a difference! I even noticed a trimmer me when I looked in the mirror. I am going to join a gym, and focus on exercise to keep a good thing going.

This was extremely motivating!

I support epilepsy awareness and research.

Most of the time the people who say that are jealous of your journey and faithfullness to your program. As long as your doctor is okaying it, I would keep at it especially since you are two pounds from your goal. Way to go!

Today I measured success in the choices I made! I was able to eat out and remained within my measures of my nutritional trackers.! It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Do it in half!

I checked the menu at dinner time. Saw there were homemade biscuits to go with the meal. Came back to the computer to check how many calories one biscuit had in it. 87 without any butter or margarine on it. I skipped the biscuit. Proud of myself today.

you guys are such an inspiration! I'm only on day two of a serious SP journey so all of the "realness" is helpful. I am horrible with the scale..literally on it three times a day (which makes no sense whatsoever). I think I became so dependent on it when I was growing up in a beach town with a fairly superficial mother (she asked me one day why I wasnt "more like the girl down street who is skinny"). so yeah, at 93 lbs my own mother was making me feel FAT. regardless of my past, God knows my future and I have the right ability and responsibility to fix this...no one else can!

I don't rely on the emoticon , I rely on my measurements and how I see changes in my body's form in the mirror, and my strength and endurance going up.

Finding out that your shirts or pants are lose. When I can tell that I have lost in my legs near my ankles along with my waist then I know I am losing.

I allowed myself to have rather more calories today, but did not go over the top so am feeling very pleased with myself. I also managed my exercise despite watching several hours of TV!

Went for a walk today and was looking for a shirt with a pocket, so I could put my Ipod in it. I found a shirt, and boy was it big on me. I remember I used to wear it a lot because it fit me. Now I wear it because it has the handy pocket not because it fits me.

before pics, body measurements, clothing size, more reps/heavier weights, longer walk/jogs in lesser time.----and im not going to lie. the scale's a great motivator for me in the beginning, when i cant see much progress in the mirror.

its kind of odd when you start hearing feedback from others- my weight hasn't changed this month, but I have been working more on strength training- especially upper body/arms/shoulders- my bat wings really bother me. As the muscles get stronger and leaner, the flapping seems to be worse, but it is in the past 3 weeks that I have gotten the most comments. go figure- not only clothes, but my skin is fitting looser too.
Since my weight is "my business" I stopped looking to others (family, co-workers) for feedback and just keep plugging along. Kind of a silent testimony to healthy living- people are seeing the changes are long lasting, and real so are now starting to comment and ask how.
Sure is nice finallyhear positive feedback from the people closest to me

Congratulations on your progress

I have 3 different piles of jeans in my closet. Skinny jeans, middle jeans, and fat jeans.
Right now I'm in between the middle and fat. It feels great to move from one pile to another.

Oh, and my shirts are getting longer :)

I'm curious to know at what point the comments start. At what point do people start to notice?
I've lost 15 and no one has said anything yet.

Not craving fast food and junk food. My clothes getting to big on me, I like to see that. Just because scale doesn't always move doesn't mean you haven't lost anything. I weigh weekly, measure every 2 weeks to a month.
