It could be better, I have a lot of food events this month where I can not bring my own food. I do better in February. I tend to gain some weight over December and January.

I feel good! I have lost 50 pounds this year.
I do not plan to lose weight in December, as I have 15 food events to go to.
I start a new exercise program Friday with a trainer.
I plan to keep my exercise at 3,000 minutes a month.
I exercised in November for 3,000 minutes and lost 3 pounds.
I plan to not gain weight in December.
I will lose my remaining 5 pounds early next year!

Proud of myself for losing 1 lb last week...that is 25 lbs lost this year! My energy is through the roof, and the chronic hip pain only flares up briefly from time to time.

Great! This morning I ran my first 5K race in 20 months! It was a slow course, very twisty and hilly; I ran all but the really steep hills and finished at a sprint. It was by far my longest effort to date, and I feel good.

Good and bad. I lost more than 2 lbs this week, which is a lot for me these days. But high stress with little sleep or appetite is the sole reason, and that's not how I want to accomplish my goals! This week I'll be focused on finding my equilibrium once again, because that was slow, but it worked, and it sure feels a lot better.

I'm feeling fabulous!

With more time and practice my confidence that I can maintain the weight I've lost continues to grow. I had an inflammatory flare this summer that challenged me. I feel good about the experience because I recognized it for what it was and sought assistance to address it and after identifying the offending foods and a change in diet, I've seen the body restore its equilibrium.

So, yeah, feeling fabulous about my progress. emoticon

emoticon I'm pretty good about getting on scale once or twice in any given week- and seems my menu & fitness minutes are getting proper results at scale.... when I stick with it, the scale is balanced, when I don't/scale shows it

Good with weight,mostly maintaining because of bad health,specialist at gym said today go to Dr. tomorrow morning to get more blood muscle tests to see if improved,if not need other tests to see what problem is and fix it. I was told only slow exercise on bike or walking until my health improves and no walking or stress test on treadmill because of my health. Low blood pressure,high heart rate,oxygen test good 97% before and after exercise. I was asked to call specialist with information from Dr. tomorrow afternoon for more tests and to start exercise program. 3 times with specialist when finished,paid for one because of being a good customer at the gym.

emoticon Gained weight the past week. I changed the amount of exercise to do weekly starting tomorrow. This week I also see a specialist at the gym for a new exercise program. He works at a hospital and the gym I go to dealing with people with chronic diseases like my kidney disease. He has gone over my lab report from the hospital a week ago as well as my diet including amount of calories,vitamins and will now go over what exercise I can do with the Dr's permission. I want to increase my exercise to 3,000 minutes a month,this month was 2,500 this month, still not bad.

Pharmacy said on phone prescription is not covered by my insurance, then lost blood thinner prescription for Xarelto today.. Went to Dr.to get new prescripton and he phoned the drugstore,no luck.Pills cost $60.00 a week. I was told do not leave we will look after it. Hospital was called to get new prescription and Dr. gave me 3 week sample for free. Remaining 6 months will now be free at the drugstore. After 3 weeks with these stronger pills I am suppose to improve. Then I get weaker ones for 6 months. I managed to walk today for 80 minutes and spent 65 minutes on the bike at the gym. I made sure not to get heart rate above 100. The range for my age and weight is 90-140,so this is O.K. When I get better I will go back to 130 average.

Satisfied with slow but steady weight loss. I decided to lower my Goal Weight by 4 more pounds--and add 3.5 more weeks to get there.

Weight loss Good!!

Hospital Saturday 10 hours,more problems,now blood clot,got blood thinner shot.
Hospital Sunday,x ray to find out where blood clot is. It is in my left lung,got another blood thinner shot.
Tomorrow start blood thinner pills for 6 months plus the previous health problems mentioned.

My weight loss progress is good!!

My health not so good!

I have chronic kidney disease and had to get a hormone injection today to raise my red blood cell count. It is extremely low. It is 5 and suppose to be 100. It is the same hormone given to cancer patients. I have extreme anemia because of this and got Iron pills today that should now work. Dr. says I will have lots of energy in 2 days if I do not get bad side effects from the shot,as a lot of people do and end up in the hospital. I will rest for 2 days in case I have to go to the hospital.

My weight loss is good. My kidney function is at 60% and was 68% a year ago. At 59% it can become a problem,then it is stage 3. I do not have to go to the hospital. I have anemia but no other problems. I do not have diabetes,high cholesterol,problems with my protein,no high potassium, calcium o.k.Vitamin B. o.k. I will change my diet to try and improve it,some foods are better for it.I was also tested for my muscles,never tested before. Most people are at 200-250 and athletes at 500. Mine is 568,better then most athletes. It shows you do not have to do muscle building exercises. I go to the gym 3 times a week to use the stationary bike at a fast pace but the slowest intensity for 60 minutes. Then I slow down for 5 minutes. I keep it at the fat burning zone. If you work up to cardio zone on any equipment you burn O% fat. I have lost 10 inches off my waist.

Happy that I went camping for 3 days and did not pig-out! Of course I ate s'mores, but no potato chips, and only 1 beer per day. A hilly hike burned lots of calories. The downside: I came home very dehydrated. It was hard to keep track of water intake.

emoticon emoticon emoticon I have lost 48 pounds since Feb. 1 and 10 inches off my waist and body fat has gone from 52% to 28% and stayed at that for the past 3 months. My muscle has remained the same this year at 50%. i wanted to lower my fat first. I exercise at the gym 3 times a week for one hour and walk about 7 hours a week and eat 1500 calories a day that does not change with exercise. I make sure when I exercise that I stay in the fat burning zone and not in the cardiac zone which is a high heart rate,,it helps everyone to burn more fat this way. In the cardiac zone it helps blood pressure go down if you need too but, no fat is burned off I have low blood pressure 80/55 most days because of chronic kidney disease stage 2. I will get 100 results next Tuesday of various blood tests, for my kidneys,as well as Iron,Potassium,calcium,cholesterol,diabete
s. I might have to go to the hospital for a biopsy as there might be a growth on one of my kidneys that is causing my low blood pressure and very painful legs when I try to sleep. If I do I will have to rest and not exercise for at least 2 weeks afterwards, it requires a 1 day hospital stay to operate and find out. emoticon

I was in the hospital on September 8th. After that I went to a Rehab Unit. When I left my house on September 10th I weighed 188 lbs., I now weigh 195 lbs. I wish I knew how to get
rid of these lbs. I fell backwards in my kitchen & hit my head & had a hole in my skull. I had another cat scan today & found out it's healing. But I still have all the headaches. It will last for a few more weeks. I hope everyone is having a Thankful & Blessed Thursday! LYL!
