I just read that article. For some reason I thought it would give more specific snack ideas. What I can say is, I probably don't need the snack most days. And I can't work out if I have eaten a bagel in the past hour--I get bad reflux.

I can't work out with a full stomach. Today I went running after eating and it felt like I was so much heavier and slower than with an empty stomach. So normally I only drink one or two glasses of water before I work out and I feel good about that. But I am sure there are also people who need to eat something before.
