Go to motivation under healthy lifestyles on this site and you will find plenty of things to keep you motivated. Join teams on thi site and read others blogs. So many great ideas to keep you motivated when you feel you can't you will see how someone else did it and it will motivate you to keep going. Think of what you want from your diet as Shoopette said to feel healthier , fit into smaller sizes, etc. Good luck and Don't give up!

This is a tough one,
for cheap foods, eat in season, canned veggies and frozen veggies tend to be cheaper.
Motivation:
why do you want to loose weight? fit in your clothes? be healthy? think about how god it will feel when you get there!

Hi all!

My weight loss/healthy lifestyle change isn't going so well, but part of the problem is that I'm not active enough on SP. I'm definitely one of those people that requires support, which is why I joined SP in the first place. It seems to be that to get that support I have to be better at sparking so that is what I'm trying to do.

I'm not counting calories. I know I should, but I am way too poor right now to really eat right and counting the calories on the foods I can actually afford was super depressing. I resumed exercising a couple of weeks ago. Just the walk away the pounds DVD, but that is starting to slow down as well (it's been 3 days). I was hoping some of you might be able to give a little advice:

What things do you do to stay motivated to stay on track?
