Hi Emily. As long as you are able to eat a little solid food and keep it down then yes that is fine that you lost so much. It will probably slow down within a week or so. It is like when you first had your band. If you can't keep anything down then it is too tight.

Hi there Emily.
It very well could be water or that you were eating a bit much. but 13 in one week is quite the amount. the norm they say is 1-2 pounds a week. After your adjustment you were probably on liquids for 2 days then pureed/soft foods so that right there is four days of yucky lol Good luck.
Now if we can jsut drop me 13 pounds like that I'd be right at goal...

I had the surgery back in October of last year. The weight was coming off very slow at first and was losing a pound or two a week. Which is supposed to be around that. I got my band tightened last Friday on the 6th I think it was. I lost 13lbs in about a week. Not that I am complaining but wondering if that is okay. The weight is just dropping of me.
I CAN... I WILL... I AM.
