That handle on eating and exercising is a very worthy endeavor Not one I've been real successful with. The exercise is pretty good, but the eating.......I have no self-control. In the past I've counted Weight Watcher points and that has worked very well. I've used it to drop 25 pounds several times. But that's the problem, the "several times". It's the same pounds over and over again.
My weight has been hanging in there steady all winter but I still want to drop another 15 pounds. I think I use the steady weight as an excuse to say, "Oh I can have that bag of chips." Or, "I haven't gained any weight so these snacks can't be too bad." But of course these are lies I tell to myself.
So....spring, as you said, a good time to re-evaluate. Thanks for the reminder.
I will be getting a new puppy in early May and anticipate that creating a lot of exercise keeping after the little one for a long time. As it grows, I anticipate many long walks and runs with her. Can't wait. (There's another excuse, I can wait until I get the dog! But no, not true.)
