I think the biggest thing I have learned this past couple weeks is that the true key to losing weight and keeping it off is all about adapting. No one can control every situation, but we can all adapt to it. Things always happen and instead of fighting it or just giving in to it, we need to try our best to work with it.
Ended up having someone bring a cake for someone's birthday and it wasn't planned?? The common feeling is - I can't eat it but if I don't I'll hurt someone's feelings. Take a small piece and work harder that day or you can shrink your supper that night. There's all kinds of things we can do to reduce the impact of the unexpected =]
