I am so proud of me today because I had allowed calories for 2 pieces of hubby's home made pizza. But after I finished the first piece, I found that I was 'elegantly sufficient' -- so I did not eat the second piece. Two hours later, I feel great, not overly stuffed as I would have been with 2 pieces, even tho it would not have blown out my numbers for the day.
That is a giant for me!!!

I am proud of myself today for a number of reasons: 1. I met with a chiropractor today and spoke with him about expanding his business to include my services (massage therapy) and he is on board!!!
2. After arriving home later than I expected from running errands with the kids -- we didn't use that as an excuse ... we changed clothes and took off for 30 minutes on our bicycles. Another successful workout INCLUDING THE KIDS!!!

I am proud of myself today .... because I gave myself a FREE DAY yesterday to eat what I wanted and to slack .... and today I'm back to the grind with renewed vigor.
I realize that watching every BLT "Bite, Lick and Taste" is what it's going to take ... but if I watch it all like a hawk every single day ... I will become wayyyyy too obsessed with the scale.

It's true that a good start can give us extra motivation. Just be careful to plan ahead with ways to motivate yourself during weeks the scale isn't as kind - because there will always be a few of those.

I am proud of myself for losing 7 pounds my first week. I realize that I won't lose this much all the time and that most of this is water.
Motivation gets you started ... habit keeps you going.
I'm going to look over my week and tweak a few things going into next week, so that I keep up my momentum of loss. NOT the momentum of the weight coming back. I'm hoping the weight gain the last 2 days was from me slacking on my cardio. I actually did some today so we shall see what the scale says tomorrow.

I am proud of myself today because ..... despite earlier procrastination .... a whole morning's worth. After lunch I got on my bike and pedaled my way to success. 58 min and 8.08 miles worth -- and I'm 120% positive that while I was pedaling north, there were crews out adding hills for my return trip south. I don't remember there being that many hills on the first 1/2 of my ride. So ------ from now on .... I scout the route first in my car .... no more surprises!

I was just realizing last night that it has been several months since I pushed myself with a consistency goal to clean my teeth every night. I haven't stopped since. Some nights, like when I really do something dumb like read until 4:53 am (GUILTY!), I don't want to, but I still got up and did it.
That's more consistently than I ever have in my life, including those tender years when parents try to make sure you brush every night (I don't ever remember being made to floss or rinse, oddly enough).

I helped catch and cage all the chickens going to the State Fair, did chores and worked in the garden. I then came home to make beef stew for DS to take to work for his lunch. Just do the best you can. HUGS!

I managed a 30 minute walk to keep up my "ten minutes a day" streak yesterday. I sat for too long in the car on the drive home and my legs were SUPER sore from my boot camp class on Monday. When I got home, I was in no shape to go on my planned run. At 9:00, I finally dragged myself out of the house to walk the puppy.

I went beyond my normal room-cleaning yesterday. I've got a box with stuff to take to a donation center, a couple of old cell-phones set aside to go drop in either one of those "we buy used phones" things or toss, and more. I also moved some things around in my room to make it look more organized - winter blankets out of sight in a drawer and so much more.
