So search on a similar recipe and claim it. I mean, really, if you are like me, the dish you cook is only similar to the recipe you are following anyway. So claiming a recipe that is also similar to the recipe your are following is legitimate.

Or find a salad, beverage, or dessert and make and claim that.

I'm too honest to add points for a recipe I didn't actually make, but thanks for pointing out that recipes tab!! That just saved me a whole lot of time!!

When you use the nutrition tracker, click on the Recipes tab. There is a pull down menu called Cookbook Recipes. That's how you would track the nutritional part.

Do you want SparkPoints? You can simply claim to have made ANY recipe for that three points. Even recipes you enter just for you. If you are scrupulously honest, but don't want to go to the trouble of reentering the Cookbook recipe, do a search on something similar and say you made that one. Here's one of the cool things, you can still make that claimed recipe later and still claim the three points on it.

No one is checking up on you. You aren't cheating, just gaming the system.

Will that help you?

If you get your 500 points for buying the book, all the nutritional info for the recipes will be on yournutririon tracker page. I'm not sure about if you can get th 3 points or not. Pam

I know that the recipes aren't listed on the recipe site so that people will have to buy the book, but I feel like I'm getting cheated out of those 3 points for making a recipe.

And most of the recipes are not listed in the nutritional information. This is a pain when tracking my food. Right now I don't have my cookbook with me and I can't finish tracking my food from yesterday.
