I finally got around to cooking this for dinner, and boy, was it good! Luckily I have enough leftovers to have it again soon.

No, I didn't use the slow cooker. I followed directions. I just started cooking again about 6 weeks ago after not cooking since my son left the nest over 13 years ago.

Did you cook it in the slow cooker? I'm looking for Chicken Slow Cooker SparkRecipes to feature in an upcoming blog.

You know, I really didn't taste it. I thought everything was nicely balanced. I was closer to 1 3/4 lbs of chicken. I am not going to cut a small slice of chicken to make it exactly 1.5 lbs and toss it, too expensive.

Thanks for the review! How strong is the Oregano? I don't like that strong of a taste...I assume you can adjust the amount if it's too strong. Sounds yummy!

This is not in the SP cookbook but it was a featured recipe the other day. I cooked it tonight and it was delicious. I did not use the wine but put 1c of broth instead. The rice even came out right.
