I haven't been thrilled with this book, looking forward to trying a good recipe.

I just got back from the grocery with all the ingredients to make this for the first time. I'm really excited to try it with add the great reviews! I'll be sure to all my thoughts. I'm going to try a couple of other recipes. My family is going to wonder what has gotten into me! emoticon

Sounds fantastic! I will certainly give this a try. It is good to be able to substitute when you suddenly find yourself short. Your suggestions sound great. Adds variety to favorite recipes.
It took me a long time to get used to yogurt. I agree with you about using the Greek yogurt.
Thank you for sharing. emoticon

I served this at my daughter tea party and the mother's loved it.

I have been meaning to post this review for a while but just kept forgetting -- until today when I ate this delicious chicken salad again and could put it off no longer.

This is one of my favorite SP recipes. It is filling, chewy, crunchy, sweet, salty ... yummy! I have made it as the recipe is written and I've also made modifications depending on the ingredients I have on hand. Last night I didn't have a granny smith apple so I used a honeycrisp, and I didn't have walnuts so I used pecan pieces. I completely omitted the poppy seeds. Everything was still so yummy. I just had the remaining serving of chicken salad for lunch. It tastes great the next day!

I thought I'd note -- I sometimes struggle with recipes that contain yogurt because yogurt is one of the few foods I really don't like. That said, I have no problem at all with the Greek yogurt in this salad dressing. If anyone else out there has a yogurt aversion like I do, you might want to give this recipe a shot.
