Quinoa tastes and is a bit like rice... it is rather bland but it does have a slight crunch to it. I like it I put it into my vegetable stew as it is a complete protein, and good for you,

I am going to make my first meal from the cookbook tomorrow night. I'm making the baked chicken tenders, honey-mustard dipping sauce and Quinoa with Pea Pods and Peppers. I'm looking forward to trying quinoa for the first time. Has anyone tried this recipe yet? I've seen great reviews on the chicken tenders but nothing on the quinoa. Thanks!
