Probably the most well known brand of chili sauce is in the asian section of your market....some people refer to it as "Rooster sauce"...don't know why...but the name is SRIRACHA...clear bottle, red sauce, green cap...white writing on it mostly asian charectors and there is a picture of a rooster on it...guess thats why they call it rooster sauce :)
Look in asian section...I think the only section in the market where you would find it or any other chili sauce.
Hi - I have not tried this recipe; but, I have used chili sauce in other things. I buy it at any 'regular' grocery store (meaning it's not a gourmet or specialty item). What I buy is in a bottle and it looks like a small catsup bottle. It's even in the same aisle, near catsup where I shop. It is called just that - chili sauce - and also looks like catsup, maybe a little darker. I'm pretty sure Heinz makes it and I've used store brands (e.g., Kroger) too.
Good luck finding it.

The recipe calls for 1/2 cup chili sauce. What exactly am I looking for at the store? Every time I ask someone at store they think I want hot sauce or enchilada sauce. Do I? Is there maybe a brand I could reference? Has anybody made this yet?
