Today I woke up at 5:30 so I could do a good workout before my weigh in for my weight loss challenge...I lost 2.5 pounds since my last weigh in!

This morning I am on Day Two of The Biggest Loser BootCamp and Toga DVD program. Today is level 1 yoga. Yesterday was Day 1 Bootcamp (my bum is sore)!

Yesterday's workout was the Dirty Dancing Work-out DVD!! I did it for 30 minutes between the instruction and the dances. I am hoping to learn the dances so I can just jump in and dance in the future!! Today's fitness will be some sort of DVD and going bowling with my family!

Today it was 30 minutes of fast/slow on the treadmill broken up with weight training- thought I'd try a bit of a shake up since I just read an article about how short sharp bursts of cardio are better than running continuously. Feeling shattered now so I must have done alright :)

Ran 3.3 miles this morning in 28:50! YES!!
Felt amazing! (Sheesh...must be my word for the day!)
Did 20 minutes of cool down and yoga.
I am also in a Squat September challenge on Facebook...Nailed 125 of those bad boys!

Awesome Ophelia,,,, step by step,,, you will get there..... I always remind myself that when I do run on the treadmill,,, I feel better afterwards...... I "trick" myself by setting a low goal,,,, for example,,,, I will work out 10 minutes every day,,,,,,, well 10 minutes usually turns into 30 minutes... and there I go...... otherwise,,, I don't think that I would even get up in the morning! LOL

Bummer, missed Friday's workout too. Wasn't feeling well but couldn't pinpoint what was wrong either. Still wasn't feeling that great yesterday but told myself maybe if I worked out I would feel better, so, I got myself to the gym, cranked up the tunes on my ipod and really pushed myself on that treadmill. After being on the treadmill for 40 minutes(!!!) I finally started feeling better. Pushed myself harder for the next 20 minutes and I was much better later in the afternoon. Thank goodness. Hmm. Wonder if there's a lesson learned there? This makes twice this has happened. I need to store that away for future not feeling well but don't know why days.

Today is celebrate Dad's Day! Enjoy, everyone! (Mindfully.) Tomorrow is back to the grind.

Oh Ophelia what a bummer!! I hope you can get out this weekend and meet the goal you've set for yourself!

How are the workouts going? Hmm, haven't been happening as much as they should for me...I have been doing a little bit of yoga almost every day, but I really need to get my cardio in! I guess I better quit hitting the snooze button in the morning huh?? emoticon

I wish I was a stress CLEANER intead of a stress eater...I'm jealous!! lol

Aside from cleaning like a maniac today (I am a stress cleaner, better than a stress eater, right?!)
It is an off day for running and so it is a strength training day...Lower body focus with weights for resistance.

Bummer. Guess I'll have to forgo today's walk. My walking buddy for two days of the week couldn't go this morning, so I used the time to play catch-up with paperwork and to get the house ready for the maids this afternoon. Was telling myself that I could go tonight. I guess that's still a possibility, though remote. My plan now is to make it up this weekend which will have to be Saturday, since Sunday is Father's Day. Which means......no extra days this week to put in any extra workouts. Oh well. I think I'll still beat the weekly goal I set for myself on SP, so that's a positive!

How are the workouts coming?

I am so glad you said that about the 30 day shred..I have that dvd too and it is ROUGH...glad it's not just me who finds it hard!! phew!

Hmm haven't worked out since last Thursday because of a sprained ankle, but I think I'm healed enough to do a little somethin somethin today...probably will pull the rebounder out, because my back is really bad, and that helps a great deal with loosening up the spine. Might have to take it easy on there and just see how my ankle feels...but yeppers that's the plan.

I sweated my arse off this morning while Jillian Michaels tried to kill me. Level 2 of the 30 day shred DVD. Man, I consider myself to be in good shape and that is a rough work out!

I already got my workout in for today, and could really use a nap! I sure hope I get used to waking up early, I can't see me functioning if every day were like today....'

I woke up at 5:50 this morning, had a cup of coffee, put my walking shoes on, and out the door I went for a nice long walk! Would have liked to go longer but up until school is out, I have schoolagers at my house by 7:20. Then at about 9am I got the kids outside playing and did some more digging in my garden! Was planning on a little yoga tonight, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold out for it, sooooo tired. We'll see, maybe I'll catch a second wind!

lol I tried a belly dancing workout several years ago, and it was FAR from easy!!

LOL michelle, those sound interesting in a FUN way! Belly Dancing looks so easy, not sure if i could get a workout with that one.

Im gonna either walk 3 miles, with walk away the pounds, or some Zumba. :)

Wednesday-I think I am going to do my Jazzercise Burlesque DVD! It is SO much fun and a calorie killer! I absolutely love it!
